Register Authenticator App on Mobile phone
1. On laptop, Launch a web browser (Chrome / Edge), access to https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo and login to O365 credential.
2. Click Add sign-in method.
3. Click on the drop-down and select Authenticator app, click Add.
4. On Mobile phone, follow the steps as shown on your laptop to download and install Microsoft Authenticator App. Once Authenticator app installed on your Mobile Phone, click next until you reach the QR code on the laptop screen.
5. On Mobile phone, launch Microsoft Authenticator app -> tap + select Work or school account -> tap Scan a QR code.
6. Scan the QR code appear on your laptop screen, verify on your mobile your O365 account is added. On laptop screen, click next.
7. On your laptop screen, you will receive a 2 digit number to be key in on your mobile phone.
Type the number on your mobile phone and tap yes.
8. Ensure Microsoft Authenticator – Notification is selected as the default sign-in method.
Click change if it is not.
9. Select App based authentication – notification and click confirm.
